Jean-Michael Basquiat was the definition of dope, around the time that the term "dope" was initiated in the fashion that we use it today. His African influenced, but very street art caught the eyes of many art appreciators in the 80's, but away from the canvas, his style of dress was impeccable, a style that i can only attempt to emulate, and pray to be compared to. In the video above, he's with the god Andy Warhol in 1984...he died of a heroin overdose in '88.
